The first tier is implemented using Microsoft Internet Information Server and Active Server Pages, which receive customer requests and invoke appropriate business objects.

CyBiz business objects form the second tier of the application, utilizing the COM+ Application Server. These objects are responsible for the business logic of the application, including communication with databases and third party systems.

In the third tier, data storage for the application is implemented using Microsoft SQL Server. Interaction with third party systems, such as ERP and other supply chain partners' systems, is accomplished using Microsoft BizTalk Server, which permits interoperability with a wide range of communication protocols, including XML, EDI, flat file, and proprietary methods. |
